Every one loves to participates in our Halloween costume contest at our fall trial!

was founded in 2003 to bring the sport of agility to Central Virginia. Since that time, CVAC has moved its home base  to recently settle at The Meadow Event Park (www.meadoweventpark.com) Where we hold two registered AKC trials a year, in the newly constructed 160’ x 250’ First Bank & Trust Company Pavilion covered arena.

This Past year,  CVAC also hosted two run thrus at the Meadow and participated in the Virginia Horse Festival (www.virginiahorsefestival.com) with demonstrations  at our new venue. CVAC enjoyed special speaker  Dr. Tracy Lord, from Four Paws Veterinary Holistic Service (www.fourpawsholistic.com) who taught us about balancing nutrition and Holistic treatment options for our dogs. CVAC members also enjoyed a one day working seminar with Beverly Adams, where we learned how to give our dogs a massage, and we learned about cold Laser therapy with guest speaker Gary Weissgold from Multi Radiance Medical.

Membership is open to people and dogs of all ages! Dogs do not have to be pedigreed or registered. Many of our members are new to agility and just want to have fun. Others are serious competitors at the national level. CVAC is committed to providing a positive experience for all handlers and dogs at all levels of learning and competition..!

Giving Back

CVAC participates in Agility Angels at our November Trials, where we collect old, unwanted ribbons from our competitors, and send them on to become sought after awards to Autistic children that are paired with trained agility dogs  and handlers.
